Bayflite Transporting 12 Year-old Struck by a Car on Clearwater Beach

Clearwater Police and Fire are on-scene of a vehicle versus pedestrian crash on South Gulfview Boulevard.

According to police, a 12-year-old male was crossing in a crosswalk in front of 625 South Gulfview Boulevard and was struck by a 2014 Toyota Avalon.

Bayflite landed near the Sand Key Bridge and the youth was transported to Bayfront Health St. Petersburg.

They say that neither speed nor alcohol appear to be a factor.
