On Saturday, February 13, 2016 at approximately 8:37PM, 52 year-old Steven Michael Cramer of Tampa, was involved in a traffic crash at 104th Lane and Park Blvd.

Following the crash, it is reported that Cramer left the scene of which caused about $5,000 damage to the other vehicle.  He reportedly made a left turn in front of oncoming traffic.

According to an arrest affidavit, Cramer left the scene heading westbound on Park Blvd in the eastbound lanes.  He then jumped the median in a 1993 Nissan and crashed again in the parking lot of the Mister Car Wash at 10471 Park Blvd.

Deputies from the Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office determined that Cramer was driving with a suspended license. The Nissan he was driving had no tag attached and was not registered with the Department of Motor Vehicle according to the documentation.

Deputies reported a strong odor of an alcohol beverage on his breath and noticed his eyes were bloodshot, watery, and glassy.  The report indicates he refused a Breathalyzer test and failed to satisfactorily complete field sobriety exercises.  The arrest affidavit indicated that Cramer admitted that he had been drinking.

  • Introduction/Possession of Contraband in a County Detention Facility
  • Possession of a controlled substance
  • Operating an unregistered motor vehicle
