Man Robbing Convenience Store Clerk at Gunpoint Shot by Customer in Lutz
The Pasco County Sheriff’s Office is investigating an attempted robbery at the Marathon Convenience Store located at 26556 Wesley Chapel Blvd in Lutz, Florida.
On January 26, 2017, around 6:40 a.m. a known suspect who lives in the area, entered the store, pointed a firearm at the clerk and demanded money.
A customer in the store with a Concealed Weapon License shot the suspect in the right thigh.
AÂ Pasco Sheriff’s Office Deputy arrived on scene as this was still in progress, and subdued the suspect at the front door with the help of citizens.
The suspect was flown to a local hospital with apparent non life threatening injuries.
