Man Kills His Pasco County Neighbor in Cold Blood

Man Kills His Pasco County Neighbor in Cold Blood

Edward Lee Tudor, age 37 of Holiday, Florida was killed by his neighbor 60 year-old Qui Feng Ke in the Beacon Square area of Holiday.

Pasco Sheriff’s deputies responded to the scene of a shooting of a person at 3519 Richborough Drive in Beacon Square.  The incident was reported at approximately 12:22 p.m. on Tuesday, January 23, 2018.

According to the arrest affidavit, Ke claims he was involved in an ongoing neighbor dispute with Tudor for the past two years.  Ke told investigators that he had his will notarized and had the intention of killing Tudor with a firearm and then hanging himself in his own home.

Ke reportedly took two loaded handguns and two additional loaded magazines and went to Tudor’s home to kill him. He told investigators he chose the 9mm over the .22 caliber because his chances of harming Tudor were better with the 9mm.

Ke opened the front door of Tudor’s home to surprise and harm him.  Ke admitted that Tudor was unarmed and holding a small dog when he fired one round striking him.  Tudor went outside pleading and asking Ke why he was doing this.  Tudor was on the grass in the front of the house when Ke shot him several more time.

Ke allowed investigator to view his own video surveillance footage which showed him walking from his home with a handgun.  It shows Ke entering Tudor’s home and shortly thereafter shows Tudor holding out his hand trying to stop the attack.  The footage shows Ke shooting Tudor several more times.

Ke admitted that he was not threatened at any time.  He also intended to kill another female in the home named Jen.  He later determined that Jen was not in the home.

Ke said he shot Tudor in the head to “end it.”  He felt that if he had let the victim live, the dispute would have continued and Tudor would have laughed at him.

He told investigators he does not regret shooting Tudor and has been planning on killing him for a long time.

Ke was arrested for premeditated murder with a firearm and transported to the Land O’ Lakes Jail
