Motorcyclist Killed in Crash Involving an SUV in Seminole Tuesday Evening

The crash occurred on Tuesday, July 11, 2017 at approximately 9 p.m. at the intersection of Park Blvd and 128th Street.

FHP says that 51 year-old Isabel Gutierrez of Clearwater was traveling westbound on Park Boulevard in a 2005 Nissan Quest.

A 29 year-old male motorcyclist from Redington Shores was traveling eastbound on a 2007 Honda CBR with a passenger. That passenger was identified as 29 year-old Jordan Kaley Marcum of Seminole.

At the intersection of 128th Street North, Gutierrez turned left into the path of the motorcycle.

Both occupants of the motorcycle were thrown from the motorcycle upon impact.

The male operator of the motorcycle died at the scene

Marcum was transported to Bayfront Health with serious injuries.

Both motorcyclist were wearing helmets according to Troopers.

Charges are pending and alcohol did not appear to have been a factor in the crash.
