Police Say Director of Child Ministry at Largo Church Inappropriately Touched 14 Year-old

On June 13, 2017, Largo Police Detectives arrested the Director of Child Ministry at Anona United Methodist Church, 13233 Indian Rocks Road, after he inappropriately touched a fourteen year old female.

The suspect identified as 31 year-old Domenic Victor Bisesti is accused of touching the victim in a lewd and lascivious manner on the buttocks area over her clothing during a church function and on church property.

Investigators from Largo Police report that this behavior occurred on several occasions over the past several months. After realizing these contacts were not accidental, she asked him to stop but he continued with this behavior.

The victim confided in her mother and the incident was reported to police. After speaking to the victim and suspect, as well as information retrieved from the victim’s cell phone, Bisesti was arrested for Lewd and Lascivious Molestation.

The church was notified of the arrest. It is unknown at this time if there are any other victims.

According to the arrest affidavit, the 14 year old girl reported that Bisesti touched her buttocks on several occasions. She stated that he told her she was cute and could not help himself.

The girl described one incident where he cornered her in the church and was about to kiss her. Investigators say that the incident was supported by a Snapchat message he sent to her on June 9th. Part of the message read, “I wish we could have either kept going or never gotten that close.”

Bisesti denied the allegations and that he accidentally touched her buttocks. In response to the Snapchat messsage, he replied, “I dont know what to say.”

Bisesti was released on $10,000 bail.
