MULTI-AGENCY SEARCH OF FLATWOODS PARK TO CONTINUE FOR HAILEY ACIERNO

Posted: April 5, 2017 – 8 PM

Tampa Police, with assistance from members of the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office, Pasco County Sheriff’s Office and Florida Fish and Wildlife Commission, will continue the search of Flatwoods Park tomorrow (April 6, 2017) at 9:00 AM.

The search will resume at the ranger station on the Morris Bridge Road entrance to the park. Hailey is known to spend time in Flatwoods Park. Officers are using all avenues possible in the effort to find Hailey, including Air Service, canine, horses, off-road vehicles, and officers on foot searching the park from every vantage point.

A foot search utilizing volunteers will be conducted on Saturday.  Family and friends are asking for volunteers who are physically able to continue the foot search through rough terrain. You must be in long pants and boots, and bring something to help you carry water. Time and location will be announced on the facebook group Find Hailey Acierno.
