Motorcyclist Critically Injured Monday Afternoon on Busch Blvd

A 21 year-old Tampa man was critically injured in a motorcycle crash Monday afternoon.
Florida Highway Patrol continues to investigate the crash that occurred at the intersection of Busch Blvd and Twin Lakes Blvd in Hillsborough County at approximately 5:58 PM.
29 year-old Alejandro Corrales Ulloa of Tampa was driving a 2014 Ford Focus.  The Ford was traveling westbound on Busch Boulevard and stopped within the intersection of Twin Lakes Boulevard attempting a left turn.
The 21 year-old Andres M. Aguilar Toledo was traveling eastbound on Busch Boulevard in the inside lane when the driver of the Ford turned left into his path.
The man was thrown from the Suzuki GSX R600 when it collided with the passenger side of Ford. He was transported to St. Joseph’s Hospital with critical injuries.
FHP reports that the motorcyclist was wearing a helmet at the time of the crash and alcohol did not appear to have played a role in the crash.
