15-Year-Old Arrested for 2nd Degree Attempted Murder in St. Petersburg

On October 31st, shortly before 2 p.m., investigators say 15-year-old Savion Nixon fired approximately 20 rounds at two people in the area of 19th Avenue South and 49th Street.

The victims were able to run away from him and no one was hurt.

St. Petersburg Police arrested Nixon and charged him with two counts of attempted 2nd-degree murder and one count of violation of probation.

The victims and Nixon were known to each other.
