34 Year-old Found Shot and Killed on St. Petersburg Street
St. Petersburg detectives are on the scene of a shooting that left a man dead.
Police say it occurred just after 6:30 p.m. on Monday, May 15, 2017 near the intersection of 11th Ave S and 23rd St. South.
When police arrived, the victim, a 34 year-old Timothy Carl Davis, Jr., was found in the street.
Officers arrived on the scene approximately 90 seconds after police received the call of a shooting. The officers administered CPR until Fire Rescue Units arrived and took over.
Despite those efforts, Davis Jr. died from his injuries.
Investigators received information that Davis had been involved in a dispute with another person in the last few days. They would like to speak to anyone who knows about this to determine whether it was related to the shooting.
There were several people in the area and have spoken to many potential witnesses.
