911 Call of Woman in Labor Handled by Tampa Fire Rescue Dispatch

May 12, 2014

This is the audio of the 911 call received by Tampa Fire Rescue dispatch regarding a woman in labor. The dispatcher helps the woman and her 8-year-old daughter while waiting for paramedics to arrive. Runtime: 8 minutes and 9 second.
This occurred about 7am Monday morning. The baby boy is doing well and is listed in good condition at Tampa General Hospital.
