Crews from Largo Fire Rescue and Sunstar Paramedics were dispatched to reports of a vehicle into a building at about 3:15 PM on Saturday, November 8, 2014.  The crash occurred near the intersection of 125th Street and 134th Avenue.

Fire Rescue crews requested an expedited response from the Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office due to the situation and large crowd forming.  Units from both the Sheriff’s Office and Florida Highway Patrol responded.

The driver of the vehicle, 25 year-old Courtney Ariel Jackson of St. Petersburg was arrested.  She has been charged with aggravated assault with a motor vehicle and two counts of criminal mischief and remains in custody at the Pinellas County Jail.

A building inspector was on-scene to check the structural integrity of the structure.  A technical rescue team from Largo Fire Rescue was also responding to shore up the damaged area of the building.
