Brush Fire Burns In Seminole [VIDEO]

Crews from Seminole Fire Rescue Department have been on scene since about 7 AM Monday morning across from Osceola High School to the west of 98th Street.

They are now being assisted by Pinellas County, Duke Energy, Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office Sunstar Paramedics and Department of Forestry.
Duke Energy de-energized the power lines as the fire approached. About 850 customers were without power but approaching 5PM, many of these customers were having their power restored.

This appears to be the same fire that has been rekindling since the July 4th weekend. At that time, it was believed to have been started by lightning.
No structures are threatened and no injuries reported.
