3 Vehicles, 1 Pedestrian and 1 Bicyclist Involved in Dunedin Crash.  The crash occurred at approximately 1:35 p.m. Wednesday, December 30, 2015.

The crash is being investigated by Pinellas Deputies assigned to the Major Accident Investigation Team (M.A.I.T.). The crash occurred at the intersection of Main Street and King Arthur Court in Dunedin, Florida.

According to investigators, 33-year old Jedediah Williams of Clearwater Beach was traveling westbound on Main Street approaching the King Arthur Court intersection in the curb lane in a a 2013 Jeep Wrangler.   Williams had a large semi-tractor trailer was next to him in the middle lane traveling in the same direction.

21-year old Sarah Olson of Dunedin was driving her 2015 Nissan Sentra on Main Street and was facing east in the left turn lane at King Arthur Court when she made a northbound turn onto King Arthur Court in front of the semi-tractor trailer.

The driver of the semi-tractor trailer slowed down to avoid a collision as Olson made the left turn.  Williams who was driving the Jeep could not see Olson turning in front of him because of the large truck.

William’s vehicle struck Olson’s Nissan in the rear passenger wheel well causing Olson’s vehicle to rotate and strike a 2007 Toyota Corolla that was stopped in the southbound left turn lane of King Arthur Court. The Nissan Sentra continued on through the intersection striking the northwest traffic light pillar where it came to a rest.

Simultaneously, Williams’ Jeep Wrangler careened towards the northwest corner of the same intersection striking a pedestrian and a bicyclist who were in the area. The pedestrian was identified as 45-year old, Gregory Hall of Clearwater and the bicyclist was identified as 24-year old, Charles Allison of Dunedin.

Allison was airlifted to Bayfront Medical Center for serious life threatening injuries. Hall was transported to St. Joseph’s Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

It is unknown at this time if alcohol or speed were factors in this crash.

The investigation continues.

Information regarding this crash obtained by a press release by Corporal Spencer Gross of the Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office.
