On Tuesday, February 7, 2017, 49 year-old Charles A. Henry died from his injuries. He was injured in a crash involving two motorcycles on December 3, 2016 at approximately 1:48 PM.
Henry was traveling eastbound on Dr MLK Jr. Blvd in the outside lane east of I-4 in Hillsborough County. He was operating a 2015 Harley Davidson motorcycle.
45 year-old James D. Mills was traveling eastbound just ahead of Henry on a 2013 Harley Davidson motorcycle.
According to FHP investigators, Henry failed to slow as Mills slowed to turn into a gas station parking lot. He was thrown from the motorcycle after colliding with the rear of the other.
Both Henry and Mills are from Covington, Georgia. Neither rider was wearing a helmet at the time of the crash according to FHP.
