Trash Compactor Burning at Lansbrook Village Apartments in Palm Harbor

Firefighters remain on-scene of a fire that began in a trash compactor at the Lansbrook Village Apartment in Palm Harbor.

The initial call came in at about 9:40 PM at 3610 Newcastle Court.

As of 11:20 PM, additional crews were being brought in to help fully extinguish the fire.  A request was also made for heavy equipment to begin the process of removing the material from the compactor.

There is no threat to any structures at this time.
