Tampa Man Killed When His Motorcycle Slams into SUV in Hillsborough County
27 year-old Vance Eldridge Jr. of Tampa was traveling westbound on a 2007 Suzuki GSX on Dr. MLK Jr Blvd in the inside travel lane east of I-4.
At the same time, a 57 year-old Plant City woman driving a 2017 Toyota 4 Runner traveling westbound on Dr. MLK Jr Blvd attempting to turn east onto I-4.
As the driver of the Toyota turned left on under a green left turn arrow, Eldridge, Jr entered the intersection against a red traffic signal and collided with the Toyota.
The motorcycle continued southwest into the eastbound lanes and collided with a 2011 Toyota Rav 4.
Eldridge Jr. was transported to Tampa General Hospital were he later died from his injuries.
Neither of the two other drivers were injured in the crash.
