Largo Police Arrest for Armed Robbery Suspect

Because of a law enforcement bulletin, Pinellas Safe Harbor resident 52 year-old Wesley Hall was identified as the suspect in this case.
In an interview with Hall at Safe Harbor, Detective Keith Wedin obtained incriminating statements from Hall which implicated him in the Speedway case.
Hall was arrested for one count of Armed Robbery.
Detective Wedin learned Hall had two prior convictions for robbery.
During an inventory of Hall’s possessions at Safe Harbor, the clothing Hall wore during the robbery was recovered.

On Monday, September 18, 2017, at approximately 2:41 am, a subject entered the Speedway store located at 5798 Roosevelt Blvd.
According to Largo Police Department, after being denied an alcoholic beverage purchase, the suspect approached the cashier behind the counter and presented a weapon.
The victim was ordered to open the register and instructed to stay on the floor. An undisclosed amount of cash was stolen.
The suspect fled on foot and no vehicle was seen.
The suspect is described as a black male between 35 to 45 years of age, bald, with a dark mustache. The suspect was last seen wearing a white shirt, black athletic shorts with a white stripe on the side and white shoes with black stripes.
