LARGO FIRE RESCUE TO HOST FREE OPEN HOUSE AND CHILI COOK-OFF
Largo Fire Rescue is excited to welcome back the Annual Open House and Chili Cook-Off on Saturday, October 14, 2017 from 1-4 pm at Fire Station 41. The event is free and they encourage all families to come out and enjoy the fun.
This event provides family friendly activities including, “Jaws of Life” demonstration, station tours, fire engine rides, fire hose spraying, Bayflite landing zone demo, static apparatus displays, and chili tasting. Free refreshments will be available, and donations will be accepted.
The Chili Cook-Off will feature teams from the City of Largo each competing for the title of Best Taste, Best Theme, Chief’s Choice, and the Golden Boot for the most money raised. All proceeds from this event will benefit the Children’s Burn Foundation of Florida.
Fire Station 41 is located at 180 4th Street, SW. Largo 33770. Parking will be available in the Pinellas County School Administration Board parking lot located across the street from the fire station.
