Northeast High School Student Charged With a Felony For Making Threats Against School
On August 15th, a 16-year old boy, who attends Northeast High in St. Petersburg, was arrested for making a statement in front of other students that he was planning a school shooting.
After an investigation by the St. Petersburg Police, he was charged with false reports concerning the use of a firearm in a violent manner, a second degree felony.
This is a reminder that local law enforcement will not tolerate these threats and will be investigate all threats of this type.
