Stop by Walmart Sunday to Help Seminole Firefighters Local 2896 Work to “Fill the Boat” Collecting Toys for Children

On Sunday, December 16, 2018, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Seminole Firefighters Local 2896 will be conducting a “Fill The Boat” toy drive campaign at the Bay Pines Walmart located at 10237 Bay Pines Boulevard to benefit the children of the Saint Vincent de Paul Center of Hope and transitional housing.

Sparky the Fire Dog and Seminole Fire Rescue District Chief Lance Volpe ask you to come out and “Fill the Fire Boat with toys for underprivileged children December 16th at the Seminole Walmart at Bay Pines.

The firefighters are asking residents to “Fill the Boat” with Holiday gifts.  If you would like to donate, bring an unwrapped toy to the Fire Boat located at the front of the store. The Local will also be accepting cash donations that will be used for purchasing gifts for the children. In the past the firefighters have collected over $10,000.00 in donations and toys from residents, providing children in the area a happy holiday season.

Please come on out and help bring a child a Happy Holiday.
