Largo Fire Rescue and Largo Police were dispatched to reports of a vehicle crash shortly before 7 p.m. on Sunday, January 27, 2019.
The crash occurred in the southbound lanes in the 1100 block of Starkey Road between a Toyota Prius and a Honda sedan.

Steady rain was falling as first responders arrived on-scene. Additional assistance was requested due to six people in need of a medical evaluation including one that was critically injured.
The most critically injured occupant was transported to Largo Medical Center. At least two others were transported to Bayfront Heath St. Petersburg as trauma alerts. One additional occupant was transported to an unknown hospital.
