The Pinellas Park Police were called to a home located at 7180 62 Way N in Pinellas Park shortly after midnight on Tuesday, July 23, 2019.
The victim, identified as 48 year-old Craig Douglas Brown, was found deceased in the home.
Investigators say that the brother of the deceased man discovered the body and called police.
Pinellas Park Police Homicide Detectives arrived on scene and continue to investigate the homicide.
Brown reportedly suffered trauma to his upper body and was found deceased on scene inside of his own home.Â
Police say that there is no danger to the public as this incident appears to be isolated to Brown and his residence.
At this time the investigation is active and no further details will be released about the investigation as not to hinder the ongoing homicide investigation.
