Eric Diaz, age 31 of Tampa, was killed in crash that occurred at approximately 1:33 p.m. on Monday, November 4, 2019.
The crash occurred as Diaz was traveling southbound on Dale Mabry Highway on a 2018 Suzuki motorcycle.
Caridad Lopez, age 78 of Tampa, was traveling eastbound out a driveway at 7814 Dale Mabry Highway in a 2013 Toyota Rav4.
Troopers from the Florida Highway Patrol say that Lopez turned left into the path of the motorcycle.
Diaz, who was wearing a helmet at the time of the crash, died at the scene.
Both Lopez and his passenger experienced only minor injuries.
The investigation continues and charges are listed as pending.
