Members of the St. Petersburg Police Department are on the scene of a shooting investigation at 3800 38th St. S. The incident occurred at approximately 9 p.m. on Thursday, March 12, 2020.
The victim was in a car that struck the garage of a house at that address.
One man, who was in the car, was transported to the hospital with critical injuries.
Police say no one else was injured and witnesses reported hearing gunshots at the time of the crash.
Detectives are gathering evidence to determine the circumstances surrounding the incident.
