Police say two people shot outside a St. Petersburg home overnight

Officers from the St. Petersburg Police Department are currently investigating a shooting that occurred in a home in the 2500 block of 12th Ave South.

The St. Petersburg Police Department said that officers received the call at about 1:45 a.m. on Wednesday, January 13, 2021.

Two people were found shot outside a home. The injured victims, an adult man and an adult woman were transported to the hospital with serious injuries.

The St. Petersburg Police provided an update later in the day saying that the male victim is 32 years old.  He is hospitalized in critical, but stable condition. The woman is 22 years old and is listed in good condition.

Police are still searching for a suspect.
