Crews from St. Petersburg Fire Rescue extinguish early morning fire

Firefighters responded to reports of a house fire at approximately 5:45 a.m. on Wednesday, March 23, 2022 at 1232 3rd Street N,

Multiple 911 callers stated a house was on fire. Crews found heavy fire from the front of the house. The building was vacant at the time of the fire.

No injuries reported at this time.

According to St. Petersburg Fire Rescue, this is a 1900’s wood frame five room apartment. The fire was able to make it into three units. Crews were able to extinguish the fire before spreading to the rest of the building. The investigator is arriving to the scene to start the investigation.
