Structure fire on Tioga Avenue in Clearwater
Units from Clearwater Fire & Rescue and Largo Fire Rescue are currently on scene of a structure fire. The call for assistance came in about 7:23 pm this evening. First arriving units reported fire coming from the roof of the single family residence. Units quickly went into the offensive mode to attack the fire. Crews were initially experiencing some difficultly opening the ceiling and roof to access the fire. According to Clearwater Fire & Rescue, the fire is being investigated but appeared to have started in an A/C unit in the house and extended through the ceiling to the roof.
The location of the fire is at 1330 Tioga Avenue in Clearwater.

Clearwater Fire & Rescue is reporting no injuries.
