Pedestrian struck and killed crossing Ulmerton Road near 34th Street N

Troopers from the Florida Highway Patrol (FHP) are investigating a crash that killed a 38-year-old male pedestrian.

The crash occurred at approximately 9:45 p.m. on Saturday, February 11, 2023.

The crash occurred as a 52-year-old male driver turned left at Ulmerton Road after traveling northbound on 34th Street North.

The sedan collided with a pedestrian walking southbound across the highway, west of 34th Street North.

The New York man was transported to a local trauma center, where he died from his injuries.
