Pinellas Park, FL – The US 19 entrance ramps to Gandy Boulevard will temporarily close beginning Thursday (June 8) from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. Friday (June 9) – weather permitting.
This closure is necessary for crews to perform roadway lighting improvements as part of the US 19 interchange improvements at Gandy Boulevard in Pinellas County. Construction activities are expected to finish during the fall of 2023.
During this closure, northbound and southbound US 19 motorists needing to access Gandy Boulevard will travel around the work zone using 70th Avenue North and 34th Street North.
Advanced warning signs and electronic message boards will assist motorists traveling through the area. Motorists should expect delays and congestion during this detour.
