Police are investigating a drug lab found in a 2063 Illinois Ave NE home in the Venetian Isles area of St. Petersburg.
Several fire department personnel and emergency vehicles are on site as a precautionary
measure, as some of the chemicals used can be very volatile.

Authorities say that there is no danger to nearby properties, and no evacuations have been ordered.
Robert A. Papp Jr., age 32 of New Port Richey, has been arrested on charges of trafficking of amphetamine and the knowledge or using part of a structure for the purpose of trafficking of a controlled substance. He was booked into the Pinellas County Jail at approximately 7:30 a.m. on Sunday, June 11, 2023.
