At approximately 2:30 AM on August 6, 2023, deputies responded to 5107 14th Street West and found a male victim suffering from multiple gunshot wounds in the parking lot of the Gold Rush Arcade, an area used for overflow parking for Touch of Class Night Club.
Deputies secured the scene and applied a tourniquet to the victim’s leg before EMS transported the victim to Blake Hospital. The 33-year-old victim later died from his injuries. His identity is being withheld at this time.
Deputies recovered evidence from the scene and are following several leads. No one has been arrested, and the investigation is ongoing.
