Victor Kerrick, age 34, of Pinellas Park, was arrested following a series of crashes in Pinellas Park. The crashes occurred at approximately 10:18 a.m. on Sunday, August 20, 2023
Kerrick was operating a red pickup truck when he collided with five other vehicles at and near the intersection of Park Boulevard and 49th Street. Kerrick turned to head eastbound on Park Boulevard and, at one point in time, was driving on the sidewalk.
After fleeing the crash scenes, Kerrick struck a Duke Energy light pole in the 4300 block of Park Boulevard. He continued to flee until he struck a tree near 73rd Avenue and 43rd Street N.
Kerrick was transported to the hospital, where he refused to submit to a test for impairment.
No other injuries were reported as a result of the crashes.
Kerrick is facing charges of leaving the scene of a crash involving property damage, driving under the influence, and DUI involving property damage.
