Firefighters respond to residential structure fire off 16th Ave N in St. Petersburg

At approximately 6:45 p.m., on Sunday, October 8, 2023, St. Petersburg Fire Rescue responded to reports of a house fire in the 4900 block of 16th Ave. N.

Units arrived to find heavy fire from the side of the house. The resident was home during the event and sustained minor injuries.

The victim has been transported to the hospital for further evaluation in stable condition.

The fire has been extinguished, with significant damage to the home. Fire Investigators are on the scene starting the investigation.
