Former Property Manager Faces Legal Action for $216,185 Theft from Clearwater’s Regatta Beach Club

Detectives from the Clearwater Police Department have arrested 43-year-old Jessica Benedict of St. Petersburg on charges of Grand Theft.

Benedict was the former property manager at the Regatta Beach Club located at 880 Mandalay Ave.

Benedict, reportedly utilized the beach club’s credit card for $79,282 to cover personal expenses. Additionally, she redirected checks intended for the beach club, totaling $136,903, into her personal bank account.

The aggregate financial loss incurred by the beach club amounts to $216,185.

Benedict was apprehended and subsequently booked into the Pinellas County Jail on the felony charge. The investigation into this matter is ongoing.
