Fatal Crash Closes 34th Street South in St. Petersburg

St. Petersburg: A crash involving two SUVs occurred at approximately 3:22 p.m. at the intersection of 34th Street South and Fairfield Avenue.

One adult was pronounced dead at the scene. Another adult and six children were transported to the hospital for treatment. The extent of their injuries has not been disclosed.

Authorities have closed all lanes of 34th Street South between 6th Avenue South and 7th Avenue South while investigators examine the scene.
