PINELLAS PARK, Fla. – On Monday, June 16, 2025, Pinellas Park Police responded to a domestic disturbance at 5050 72nd Avenue involving 21-year-old Ruben Hernandez and his minor girlfriend.
Shortly after the incident began, Joe Perry arrived at the location with 20-year-old Marquis Mcburrows and 22-year-old Mykel Mcburrows to confront Hernandez. A verbal dispute escalated, leading to an exchange of gunfire between the involved parties.
Both Joe Perry and the minor victim sustained gunshot wounds. They were transported to a local hospital, treated, and released.

Hernandez was arrested and charged with Attempted First-Degree Murder. Marquis Mcburrows was arrested and charged as a Principal to Attempted Murder. Mykel Mcburrows remains at large and is also wanted for Attempted First-Degree Murder.
Authorities are urging the public not to approach Mcburrows.
