DUNEDIN – The Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office Major Accident Investigation Team is investigating a two-vehicle crash that left two people injured, one critically, in Dunedin.
According to investigators, the crash occurred on Sunday, August 10, 2025, at approximately 9:24 p.m. Deputies say 42-year-old Jared Tiso of Dunedin, was driving a 2022 Dodge Ram southbound on Belcher Road near Winchester Drive when he attempted to turn eastbound. Tiso’s vehicle struck a northbound 2022 Lexus LX driven by 61-year-old George Haddad, causing the Lexus to roll over and eject both George and his passenger, 55-year-old Hayam Haddad.

Both occupants of the Lexus were transported to a hospital. George Haddad sustained life-threatening injuries.

Deputies reported that Tiso showed signs of impairment and performed poorly on Field Sobriety Tests. He was arrested and charged with two counts of Driving Under the Influence Causing Serious Bodily Injury and one count of Driving Under the Influence. Tiso was booked into the Pinellas County Jail.

The investigation remains ongoing.
