When deputies arrived, they were unable to make contact with Reid. An unsecured door was found, and deputies entered the residence. Inside, they located Reid’s girlfriend, 42-year-old Sarah Bulat, deceased from a gunshot wound to the head.

As deputies continued to clear the residence, they heard a single gunshot from a bathroom. Reid was found inside with a self-inflicted gunshot wound and was pronounced deceased at the scene.
