LEALMAN – A family experienced a frightening situation when a naked man attempted to break into their home on Saturday, August 30, 2025.
Deputies from the Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office responded to the incident at approximately 8:20 p.m. in the area of 44th Avenue and 74th Street N. A doorbell camera captured footage of the naked man, later identified as 42-year-old Dametris Woodley, attempting to enter the residence.
Woodley repeatedly claimed that someone was trying to kill him. A male member of the household quickly restrained Woodley, tackling him to the ground and holding him until deputies arrived.

Woodley, who is listed as a transient, was taken into custody and booked into the Pinellas County Jail. He faces a charge of burglary with assault or battery.
