CLEARWATER – Clearwater Police Department officers are investigating what apperars to be two related stabbing incidents that occurred early Thursday morning.
At approximately 2:35 a.m., officers responded to the Circle K located at 1501 Gulf to Bay Boulevard for reports of an adult male with stab wounds. The man, who had serious injuries, was treated by Clearwater Fire & Rescue medics and transported to a local trauma center.

A short time later, officers received another report of a stabbing victim in the 300 block of Jefferson Avenue. Responding officers located a second adult male with significant stab wounds. He was also transported to a local trauma center for medical treatment.
Preliminary information indicates that the stabbings occurred near the laundromat at the corner of South Fredrica Avenue and Cleveland Street.
The investigation is ongoing.
