Overnight Blaze Claims One Life in St. Petersburg

On Saturday, November 1, 2025, St. Petersburg Fire Rescue crews responded around 12:57 a.m. to reports of a structure fire near 10th Avenue and 17th Street North.

Firefighters arrived to find a two-story wood-frame home fully engulfed in flames. Crews conducted an aggressive attack to contain the fire and protect surrounding properties.

One person was found deceased in the home. Two other adults were safely evacuated without injury.

The cause of the fire is under investigation. Additional information will be released as it becomes available.
