GULFPORT, FL — Gulfport Police officers responded to a reported domestic-related stabbing at 6312 Pasadena Point Boulevard on Friday at approximately 9:00 p.m.
According to preliminary reports, officers received information that a male had stabbed another resident of the home with an unknown object. The officers located the suspect, identified as 43-year-old Jorge Luis Polo, and took him into custody.
Officers provided first aid to the victim until paramedics arrived. The victim was transported to a local trauma center with unspecified injuries.
Polo was charged with Attempted Felony Murder, Battery on a Law Enforcement Officer, Battery on a Person 65 Years or Older, and Resisting an Officer Without Violence.
