ST. PETERSBURG — A Tampa woman was arrested on November 23, 2025, after officers reported multiple violations during a traffic stop at 22nd Avenue North and Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Street North, according to arrest affidavits.

Officers conducted the stop at about 1:39 a.m. and identified the driver as 55-year-old Amelia Lee Mulholland of Tampa. Police stated she was operating a blue Porsche Taycan and showed indicators of impairment, including an odor of alcohol, slurred speech, a blank expression, and unsteady balance. She also performed field sobriety tests. A breath test later recorded results of 0.058 and 0.059. Urine test results were pending at the time of the affidavit. Records indicated a prior DUI conviction from 1990 in Hillsborough County.

During the stop, officers discovered that Mulholland’s driver’s license had been suspended on January 28, 2024, for refusal to submit to testing, and the suspension was still active. She was charged with driving with a suspended license.

According to the affidavits, Mulholland also provided false identification during the traffic stop. Police reported that she first gave officers her twin sister’s driver’s license and later identified herself by her sister’s name. Officers stated they confirmed her identity after locating her actual driver’s license in her purse.

Mulholland was additionally charged with possession of a controlled substance. During an inventory search following her DUI arrest and the impound of her vehicle, officers located four acetaminophen and codeine pills. She did not have a prescription and told officers post-Miranda that the pills had been given to her by her sister.

Mulholland was booked into the Pinellas County Jail on four charges: DUI, driving with a suspended license, providing false identification to law enforcement, and possession of a controlled substance. Bond amounts listed in the affidavits totaled $5,650.
