ST. PETERSBURG — St. Petersburg detectives arrested 42-year-old Lucas Jose Herraiz Wednesday following an investigation conducted through the Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force Program.
According to police, the investigation began after detectives received a tip through the task force. Herraiz was arrested on 18 counts of possession of child pornography, all second-degree felonies.
Detectives said the investigation determined that Herraiz had downloaded multiple videos of child sexual abuse material (CSAM).

At approximately 7 a.m. on Wednesday, January 28, 2026, search warrants were served at Herraiz’s home and business. His home is in the 8100 block of 26th Avenue N. His business is listed as LALA St. Pete in the 2300 block of Central Avenue.
Detectives seized two electronic devices from his residence.
The investigation remains ongoing.
