Largo Mobile Home Fire Claims Lives of Woman and 4-Year-Old

Largo — Two people, including a 4-year-old child, died following a residential structure fire early Monday morning in Largo, according to Largo Fire Rescue.

On May 11, 2026, at approximately 2:20 a.m., Largo Fire Rescue crews responded to a reported residential structure fire at the Westgate Mobile Home Park, located at 14099 Belcher Road South.

When firefighters arrived on scene, they encountered heavy fire conditions coming from the residence.

According to officials, three occupants were inside the home at the time of the fire. An adult male occupant was transported to the regional burn center at Tampa General Hospital for treatment.

Two additional occupants, identified as an adult female and a 4-year-old female, were located inside the residence and pronounced deceased at the scene.

Largo Fire Rescue was assisted by crews from Pinellas Park and Seminole Fire Rescue.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation by the State Fire Marshal’s Office.
