A 15-year-old Clearwater driver suffered non-life-threatening injuries after crashing a Dodge Durango into a residence in Unincorporated Clearwater Tuesday night.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the crash occurred on May 26, 2026, at approximately 10:00 p.m. Investigators say the juvenile driver was traveling northbound on South Martin Luther King Jr. Avenue at a high rate of speed when he lost control of the Dodge Durango near Hall Street.

Troopers say the SUV departed the roadway and struck multiple traffic control devices and utility fixtures before entering the property of a home located at 1642 South Martin Luther King Jr. Avenue.
The vehicle then collided with the residence and a parked vehicle on the property.

The driver suffered non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to an area hospital for treatment.
No additional injuries were reported. The crash remains under investigation by the Florida Highway Patrol.
