PINELLAS PARK — Detectives with the Pinellas Park Police Department arrested a Bradenton man accused of traveling to Pinellas Park to meet a 15-year-old minor for sexual activity following an online investigation.
According to police, detectives received information that 47-year-old Christopher Antoniou had been engaged in inappropriate online communication with a minor. Investigators say the investigation revealed Antoniou made arrangements to travel to Pinellas Park to meet the child for the purpose of engaging in sexual activity.
Detectives also allege that Antoniou transmitted harmful material to the 15-year-old on multiple occasions during the course of the communications.
Authorities said Antoniou traveled from Bradenton to Pinellas Park on May 28, 2026, where he was taken into custody.
Antoniou was transported to the Pinellas County Jail and charged with:
- Seduction of a Child Using the Internet or an Electronic Device
- Transmission of Harmful Material to a Minor
- Unlawful Use of a Two-Way Communications Device
- Certain Computer Transmissions Prohibited
- Traveling to Meet a Minor
Police said the investigation remains active.
