Additional road openings announced on barrier islands starting at 6 pm

At 6:00 p.m. today, September 29th, the closed sections of Gulf Boulevard will reopen.

These sections were: north and southbound lanes of Gulf Boulevard from 150th Avenue (Tom Stuart Causeway) south to 140th Avenue in Madeira Beach and Park Boulevard Bridge to 196th Avenue (Tiki Gardens County Park) in Indian
Shores.

Gulf Boulevard from Belleair Beach to St. Pete Beach will all be reopened to residents, business owners, and employees with their Barrier Island Re-Entry Permit or photo ID and reasonable proof that they reside or have legitimate business on the barrier islands.

It has been almost 12 years since the inception of IONTB. Our operating expenses are not huge by any stretch of imagination but funds are necessary for our continued survival. We are asking for a one time contribution or contribution on a monthly basis to help continue IONTB to flourish and enhance the coverage of news in the Tampa Bay area.
