Bicyclist Critically Injured in Clearwater Crash
Clearwater Police responded to a vehicle versus bicycle crash on Myrtle Avenue at Jones Street at approximately 9:08 a.m. on Thursday, August 17, 2017.
The bicyclist who was struck has been identified as 54 year-old Leo Green. Investigators say he has no known local address.

Investigators say he was struck by a 2012 Honda Odyssey traveling northbound which was being driven by a 53 year-old Palm Harbor woman.
Green rode into her path and she was unable to avoid hitting him.

He remains in critical condition at Bayfront Health St. Petersburg.
Myrtle Avenue was closed in both
directions during the investigation.
